25th anniversary!? That’s right everybody, believe it or not, Reel Big Fish has been around 25 whole years!! Who would have thought that when we started this band in high school way back in the early 90′s that we’d still be making music and touring the world in 2016! Thanks SO much to everybody who has supported the band over the years by coming to the shows, buying our albums and merch and allowing us to make playing music our job! All year long at our shows we’ll be celebrating our 25th anniversary by playing songs from our first 1992 demo tape! You’ll hear songs like “the May Song”, “Soma Holiday”, High Chair” and all the great songs from WAY back in the day…JUST KIDDING, We won’t be playing any songs from our first couple of years as a band because NOBODY including us would enjoy that! Haha We’ll be playing songs from all the great albums we’ve made over the years, especially the classic 90′s albums “Turn the Radio Off” and “Why Do They Rock So Hard” as well as some other favorites and a few other surprises! So get your tickets now for our 25th Anniversary tour! We’ll See ya out on the road in 2016!!

It’s been exactly 20 years since we debuted our song “Beer” at a small club in Long Beach, CA.
Our horn players at the time had just quit the band so Aaron Quickly scrambled to write a few songs with no horns for the upcoming show. The setlist also included “Go Away” and “Why Do All Girls Think They’re Fat”.
When we went in to the studio in 1996 to record “Turn the Radio Off” our producer/record label president INSISTED that we add horns to this song because we were a “horn band”.
Times sure do change because when we were recording “Why Do They Rock SO Hard” in ’98 that same guy who forced us to add horns to Beer asked us for a “No Horns Mix” of the album because horns were “Out” in the music industry. We of course refused as you can tell…any way, if you’re still reading this, you must be really bored! Have yourself a beer and enjoy the video!!
