Since most people who’ve seen us live in the past 6 months have been noticing, we have a new drummer playing with us so we thought we’d let you in on what’s up with what’s going down with that.
At the end of our June 2014 tour Ryland “the Rabbit” Steen, our drummer for the past 10 years, got a call from one of his all time favorite classic rock/folk bands from the 70′s America (yes the “I’ve been through the desert on a horse with no name” band) and they needed a drummer. Well this was quite an opportunity for him so of course we urged him to do it and gave him our blessing to go on hiatus as long as he needed to.
So now, in his absence, our dear friends in Suburban Legends have been generous enough to loan us their amazing drummer Ed Larsen who has done an excellent job of filling Ryland’s shoes thus far.
So there ya go, that’s the deal with that.
We’ve got lots and lots of shows coming up so check out the “tour dates” section of our web site. Also rumor has it that there will be a second leg of our tour with Less Than Jake this summer so we’ll let you know more about that as soon as we can!

It’s been exactly 20 years since we debuted our song “Beer” at a small club in Long Beach, CA.
Our horn players at the time had just quit the band so Aaron Quickly scrambled to write a few songs with no horns for the upcoming show. The setlist also included “Go Away” and “Why Do All Girls Think They’re Fat”.
When we went in to the studio in 1996 to record “Turn the Radio Off” our producer/record label president INSISTED that we add horns to this song because we were a “horn band”.
Times sure do change because when we were recording “Why Do They Rock SO Hard” in ’98 that same guy who forced us to add horns to Beer asked us for a “No Horns Mix” of the album because horns were “Out” in the music industry. We of course refused as you can tell…any way, if you’re still reading this, you must be really bored! Have yourself a beer and enjoy the video!!
